  • The Way to Purity
Those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart . . . . For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man . . . —Matthew 15:18-20Initially we trust in our ignorance, calling it innocence, and next we trust our innocence, calling it purity. […]
  • Danger: Ministry Idolatry
It may be the sneakiest form of idolatry — and the deadliest. The deceptive thing about idolatry in general is that it is not just the overt worship of graven images, but anything that stands in God’s place. Youth Programs

One of the things that our church family has a heart for is the training of the next generation.  We know the importance of narrowing their focus to be on God instead of the things that our modern day culture has to offer them.  The wisdom of God is seen in the Proverbs…

Proverbs 22:6-”Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

The goal of the youth programs at our church is to come alongside their parents/ guardians and reinforce the Scriptures so that they can live victoriously in the world and not be a product of the culture.  We offer the following youth programs:

  • Infinite Life (ages 13-young adult) Sunday 7-9pm (Haines Christian Center)
  • Girl’s Bible Study (grades 6-8th) Monday 4pm (The Diggins home)
  • Beyond Existence (ages 7-12) Friday 5:15-6:45pm (Port Chilkoot Bible Church)

We typically meet from mid-September to late-April
