• John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him."
  • Lessons in Leadership, Part 1 August 31, 2015
While all Christians are under the leadership of Christ, God has appointed certain men to be responsible for leading local churches. It's a job that deserves honor and respect, but comes with inherent danger. We'll look at Lessons In Leadership, on Truth For Life with Alistair Begg.
  • The Humility and Exaltation of Christ August 31, 2015
It’s as perplexing as it is awe-inspiring . . . as astonishing as it is dumfounding. I’m talking about the amazing paradox that Jesus is fully God . . . yet humbled himself to become fully man.

Do you feel like all you are doing is just drawing your breath and drawing your salary? God’s plan is to take ordinary people and put them in ordinary places with ordinary jobs and get extraordinary glory to Himself. Now that's an important job!

Looking forward to worship…

From the desk of the pastor:

Hebrews 10:23-25–“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” ESV

It is Saturday once again…another week has drawn to a close and we look forward to another eventful week. One of the best ways to prepare ourselves for the coming week is by heeding the words in the above verses. When we gather together we have the opportunity to encourage one another in the common faith that we hold in Jesus Christ.

When we gather together to worship God, we have the opportunity to ‘give’ encouragement to one another and, when we do so, we will ‘get’ encouragement in return.

I look forward to having the opportunity to encourage you tomorrow!
