• Psalm 145:8
The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.
  • Saying No to Slander, Part 1 February 8, 2016
Slander is a sin that should be taken very seriously and most, if not all of us, are guilty. We can rid ourselves of this sin by looking to the grace extended to us at the cross. We're "Saying No To Slander," on Truth For Life with Alistair Begg.
  • The Qualities of True Love, Part 1 February 8, 2016
From poetry to music to movies and TV, you’re bombarded by images and voices that reduce this thing called love to little more than an abstract feeling. But God’s Word brings real love into unmistakable focus.
  • How to Find Peace in the Midst of Your Storm February 5, 2016
Some three hundred and sixty-five times in the Bible, one time for every day of the year, God has told us not to be afraid. God's peace is not the subtraction of problems; it’s the addition of power to meet them.

Looking forward to worship…

From the desk of the pastor:

Hebrews 10:23-25–“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” ESV

It is Saturday once again…another week has drawn to a close and we look forward to another eventful week. One of the best ways to prepare ourselves for the coming week is by heeding the words in the above verses. When we gather together we have the opportunity to encourage one another in the common faith that we hold in Jesus Christ.

When we gather together to worship God, we have the opportunity to ‘give’ encouragement to one another and, when we do so, we will ‘get’ encouragement in return.

I look forward to having the opportunity to encourage you tomorrow!
