• 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. […]
  • Evangelism - Dealing with Difficulties, Part 3 of 3 July 27, 2016
The topic of salvation through Christ alone often results in "push back." Sometimes it's in the form of attitude. Other times we're challenged with tough questions. We'll discover how to provide compassionate answers and how to point people to Jesus on Truth For Life with Alistair Begg!
  • The Lord’s Word to His Church: Ephesus, Part 1 July 27, 2016
Imagine for a minute . . . you show up to your church this Sunday, check your kids into the nursery, and sit down in the pew—just like you do every other Lord’s day. But, instead of the pastor getting up to preach, he announces he’s going to read a letter he received the previous […]
  • The Church Triumphant July 26, 2016
Jesus said,"Upon this rock I will build My church." The Church is not a building--it is a people. Jesus has called us out, sent us out, and one day He will come to take us out. Till then, we must evangelize--or we'll fossilize!

Looking forward to worship…

From the desk of the pastor:

Hebrews 10:23-25–“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” ESV

It is Saturday once again…another week has drawn to a close and we look forward to another eventful week. One of the best ways to prepare ourselves for the coming week is by heeding the words in the above verses. When we gather together we have the opportunity to encourage one another in the common faith that we hold in Jesus Christ.

When we gather together to worship God, we have the opportunity to ‘give’ encouragement to one another and, when we do so, we will ‘get’ encouragement in return.

I look forward to having the opportunity to encourage you tomorrow!
